Fruit party
One fruit loves England's climate: the apple. Every October, the English honour their favourite fruit on Apple Day. It promotes many apple varieties and their uses: apple juice, pies and cakes!
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus started her career as Disney star Hannah Montana when she was 13 years old. But a lot has changed since then. Today, aged 20, Miley is more famous for her music than her acting. She has a new rock star image too. Her fourth album is out now. You're sure to love Miley's catchy single "We Can't Stop"!

Global Warming, Panic or Reality?
Global warming is already under way. The evidence is vast and the urgency of taking action becomes clearer with every new scientific study. Some of the most obvious signs are visible in the Arctic, where rising temperatures and melting ice are dramatically changing the region’s unique landscapes and wildlife—as well as people’s lives and livelihoods. Across the globe, other early warning signs include melting glaciers, shifting ranges of plants and animals, and the earlier onset of spring.
1. What is global warming? Global warming is the current rise in average temperature of Earth's ocdeans and atmosphere. The most ovbious results are visible in the Artic.
2. What is the process involved in the greenhouse effect? The "greenhouse effect" is the warming that happens when certain gases in Earth's atmosphere trap heat. These gases let in light but keep heat from escaping, like the glass walls of a green house.
3. What signs warn us about global warming? Some of ovbious signs are in the Artic, where rising temperatures and melting ice are dramatically changing the regions unique landscapes and wildlife, as well as people's lives and livelihoods. Across the globe, other early warming signs include meeting glaciers, shifting ranges of plants and animales, and the earlier onset of spring.
4. Watch the video and explain:Global warming, panic or reality? I think that it is a reality because it is starting to affect our planet and the people. The people destroying our world, with pollution,...
3. Create less pollution.
4. Keep our world more clean, without litter on the streets.
5. No waste.

Hi
My name's Alba Lagresa and I live in Buryfield in England. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it.
In my opinion ther isn't anywhere for young people to go and there aren't any facilities for them. As a result, young people spend all their time hanging around on the streets. There are sometimes problems with vandalism and graffiti.
I think the council should do something about this. I'm sure they must have some land for local people

Lady Gaga
The rumour is that Lady Gaga has called her new album ARTPOP, which must be written in capitals. ARTPOP is "pop art" in reverse. Gaga is a big fan of pop art, a 1950s art movement which transformed ordinary objects, like a can of soup, into art. She is fascinated by pop artist Andy Warhol, who died in 1987. She says that he speaks to her in her dreams!
The Host
This is the film of a book by Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight series.
There are no vampires this time - Earth has been infiltrated by parasitic aliens called "souls", which possess humans. There's a love story, of course, between a boy and a "soul". Twilight fans will be happy!

Alba: Laia, Laia! Can you hear me? I need your help!
Laia: Alba? Where are you? What's happened?
Alba: I'm by the river. I was sailing when suddenly my boat sank because it had a hole. I think it is because I hid a rock by accident.
Laia: Don't panic. I will call the coastguard. Are you injured?
Alba: Ok but hurry up! I hurt my leg.
Laia: Hang ok, we will come to help you soon.
Alba: Laia!
Laia: Now, what's happening?
