My name's Alba Lagresa and I live in Buryfield in England. I like the area where I live, so I want to improve it.
In my opinion ther isn't anywhere for young people to go and there aren't any facilities for them. As a result, young people spend all their time hanging around on the streets. There are sometimes problems with vandalism and graffiti.
I think the council should do something about this. I'm sure they must have some land for local people

Laia: Alba? Where are you? What's happened?

Alba: I'm by the river. I was sailing when suddenly my boat sank because it had a hole. I think it is because I hid a rock by accident.

Laia: Don't panic. I will call the coastguard. Are you injured?

Alba: Ok but hurry up! I hurt my leg.

Laia: Hang ok, we will come to help you soon.

Alba: Laia!

Laia: Now, what's happening?

I am the captain of cycling club in Banyoles, Catalunya. The name of the club is Cycling Banyoles. I am writing to you because we are planning a competition and we are looking for sponsors.

The competition will take place in May. Teams and fans from five countries are going to be in Cycling Banyoles for this event, and I think that it will be good publicity for your company and friends.

5. A story about a rescue

The rescue happened while we were on holiday in Alps last December. It was really amazing and I was lucky to get a photo of it.

I was with my family and we were in a helicopter. We were observing the mountains when we saw two people skiing.

There was a man and one girl and they were shouting and making signs. Fiddenly there was an avalanche from the mountain. A skier, was also watching, and as soon as he saw the problem, he dropped very fast.

The helicopter rescued two people.

They very brave because it was very cold.

6. A biography

Gemma Mengual

Gemma Mengual was a swimmer. She was born in Barcelona it 12^th April 1977. She lives in Sant Cugat del Valles.

Gemma Mengual Civil is the only suwimmer in the world that achieved four gold medals at the Europeans championships

She participated in the Olympic games in 2000, 2004 and 2008, the word Championships and European Championships.

He has won 27 gold medals, 18 silver and 12 bronze.

He retired in February 15^th, 2012.

4. A memorable day

I remember Banyoles festival one week ago. It was very memorable day's.
First at nine o'clock the night, we were at the supermarket "Lidl". I went to Banyoles festival and second at half past ten I went to Barraques I had a dinner, finally at half past twelve I wnt to Laia's house to sleep.
There were many people at the Banyoles festival. I remember we went to buy sweets and to many rides.
I felt very happy and It was fantastic.

2. MY INTERNET PROFILE

Hi, I'm Alba and I'm from Banyoles in Catalonia. I've got brown blonde hair. I really like singing and I don't like doing do homework. I like listening to music and buying clothes. I really want to meet boys and girls from 13-16 years old. I want to practise my english.

3. MY IDEAL HOME

Here we are in my ideal home. It's a modern house near the center of town. It's got everhything. It's got three bedrooms, two bathrooms a big kitchen and a living room. The living room has got a nice balcony and you can see the museum and the cathedral from it.
On an ideal afternoon in my idal home we're all here. My mum and dad are sitting outside. They're listening to music. My brother is in the kitchen. I'm reading a book.
My favourite room is in the kitchen. It's got a big table and a really modern microwave. I like this room because it's very big.

1. MY SCHOOL

My name's Alba and I'm at Casa Nostra School in Banyoles it is a big school – there are three hundred students here It's a school for boys and girls. There are twenty teachers at the school and there are a lot of different rooms.

There is a small gymnasium for our PE classes.

I love art and there is a big workshop. I like ICT too, but there aren't any modern computers in our ICT room. They're very old!
